A Nose's Best Friend
It is cold season. We all have runny noses. And now, we all know what to do with our tissues.

A Day of Discovery
Tate and I spent a splendiforous morning with our friends at the Building for Kids. Lindsey, Steve and I were happy to sip on our coffee and watch our boys play. I hadn't been to the Building for Kids since it was called the Children's Museum and I don't care how old you are, it was still super fun. After a couple hours of playing and exploring, we wrapped up our morning with dancing and lunch. I don't think we were in the car more than 3.5 minutes and Tate was asleep. Good. Because now I have time to blog about it.

Sometimes a boy gets thirsty.
Tate's favorite part was the "Moving It" ball zone.
Kids placed balls in different openings and they would be sucked up in and through the tubes and collect on top. Every 20 seconds or so, the doors would open up and drop all the balls. How awesome.
Tate totally got the concept of "throw the balls in the basket". I wonder why...

A Man of Many Talents
Tate wore a lot of hats today. Figurative hats; he only has one literal hat, and it is super cute. But today, today he was a house cleaner, chef responsible for feeding the family, vandal attempting to blow up a furnace and Mr. Fix-It.
I kid you not, sweeping captured Tate's attention for a good 20 mintues or so...
...Dave is excited that Tate is showing an interest in chores already. :)
Checking on dinner.
The boys attempting to retrieve a "youth fork with a Mickey Mouse character handle" from the furnace grate.
Handing said fork off to Daddy's Little Helper
One last check...
While not captured on camera, Tate also was getting his traveling hat on by crawling in and out of Dave's suitcase. Let me tell you, it was super adorable.

Champions
There is so much I could say about the Packers winning the Superbowl but I don't believe it would do justice to the awesomeness we as Fans are experiencing. But I'll try...
Dave is in Dallas (sitting directly behind Hillary Swank, thank you very much) witnessing an amazing group of players take back a trophy that is more at home in Green Bay than anywhere else. I am sure he is in heaven. I can't be 100% sure because he has not contacted me since before halftime, but you know, I know him and his love of sports so...
Tate is awesome. He is a true Packer fan, whether he realizes it or not. The boy was cheering all day, clapping, dancing and fist pumping. If you are lucky, you may at some point be able to witness Tate's interpretation of "the Raji".
On the drive home from our own Superbowl party, it was amazing to hear the post-game ceremony on the radio while seeing fireworks exploding on either side of the highway. Even though it was just me and my little man in the car, it was clear: we were not alone in our celebration. We were not alone in our pride as Packer fans. And we were not alone in being able to declare, after 14 years, We Are the Champions.

This was in the afternoon as we had pre-game coverage on. The picture is blurry because he is busy movin' and cheering, as he did all day.
