The holidays are such a terrific time for Savy and myself to be able to catch up with friends who are in town to visit family. One such example would be of the incredible time we spent with our very good friends, the Russlers! We decided to pack up our betrothed little ones and make the trip to Green Bay to tour Lambeau and see all the goodness the Hall of Fame had to offer. (and to be honest, wear as much energy out of the kids as possible. not gonna lie.)
Liz, Grace and John Russler...we were so lucky to spend such great times with them during their stint in town.
Out of the six of us on the trip, Dave was the only one who had previously been on the Lambeau tour.
Love that Grace is looking back to make sure the girls were coming along as well...
As we waited for our tour to begin, Tate and Grace happily chased each other all around the Atrium.
It was almost as if he has been here before or something.
This picture makes me smile, and I don't even remember what occurred to warrant a touchdown signal.
I kept trying to sneak a picture of Dave and John, but these two were doting dads the entire time, and therefore difficult to capture said coveted photo.
Miss Gracie is sure in love with both her parents. She knew where they both were at all times. And looked incredibly adorable while doing it.
On our tour, we were ushered in to a private box suite (most likely the only time that will happen) and this is Savy and Tate, admiring...
...this awesome view of the field. Now ask my husband and he will say that he prefers the cold, and windy seats outside as you get more of the "stadium atmosphere".
Tate, for the 1.829 seconds his attention was captured.
Grace, for approximately the same time period.
And speaking of Tate and Grace, guess who's in love?
Underneath the stadium
The very same tunnel our beloved Aaron, A.J., Donald and the rest of the Packers' crew run out of before each home game.
Dave and Tate at the entrance of the tunnel, looking out at the best football environment in the world. (and p.s. that is a known fact, not just my opinion.)
Lambeau Leapin' it.
The Frozen Tundra. Previous to the start of our tour, I believe John and Dave devised a plan that involved the kids, "accidentally" running out onto the field, causing the dads to retrieve them, on the 50 yard line. Said plan never came to fruition.
Our fabulous group.
It is a tradition that Packer players ride local kids' bikes from the stadium, across the street to practice during training camp. In the Hall of Fame, there are bikes set up along side of "Packer players" riding bikes to practice, which visitors can also experience.
Getting personal with KGB.
Grace, showing the o-line who is boss.
I could come up with some clever caption for this picture, but in all reality, Tate spent a good couple of minutes explaining to this player that the ball was, "Aaron's ball."
"Put. Me. IN, Coach."
Attempting the Lambeau Leap.
Success with the help of Daddy.
After a tour of Lambeau, hanging out in the Hall of Fame, and a trip to the pro-shop, everyone ends the day happy, and with footballs.
2.6 minutes after we got into the car. Success.
